The Business Strategy of the Indonesian Air Transportation Sector During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The purpose of this study was to examine the airline industry’s business strategy during COVID-19 pandemic. This investigation focused on PT Garuda Indonesia. A qualitative approach used, and research descriptive in nature. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants Indonesia service users, such as Senior Manager for Operations Engineering, ticket sales customer officers, airport employees, plane passengers. data analyzed using SWOT method. According findings, pandemic, implemented several strategies, including providing safe comfortable facilities passengers by implementing strict health procedures, expanding cargo freight forwarding services. Sponsors other companies who wanted promote their products planes could use digital KIRIM AJA. It can be concluded that is acutely aware pandemic’s impact its continuity has been attempting implement various strategies survive pandemic first assessing company’s strengths weaknesses, well opportunities challenges it faces.
